Day 1: Nairobi
Upon arrival at the airport you will be warmly met by our Dawin Tours & Travel Ltd representative who will welcome you to our beautiful country Kenya. He will brief you on your safari and later transfer you to your hotel for some leisure time and later dinner and overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel DBB.
Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
Wake up early for an early breakfast and then be transferred to the airstrip to catch your flight which departs at 0810hrs. Arrive at the Wilson airport at 0840hrs where you will board the connecting flight to Samburu national reserve at 0915hrs. Samburu National Reserve is located further north of the equator. Samburu National Reserve is home to Kenya’s special five; Somali ostrich, grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe and the beisa Oryx. These animal species are rarely found in any other parts of Kenya. Upon arrival at the reserve at 1030hrs, you will be met by Samburu Intrepids Tented Camps’ resident guide driver who will transfer you to the camp for check in. Enjoy an en-route game drive in the reserve. At 1300hrs enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon you will have some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive at 1500hrs. Be on the lookout for the special five as well as the famous five. Return to your camp at 1800hrs where you will enjoy dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camps LDBB
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
Samburu National Reserve is located in the arid region of Kenya and thus a lot of savannah plains and occasionally hills adorning the landscape. You will spend the whole day in the wild and hopefully locate the buffalo, leopard, elephant, lion and the special five. The Samburu National Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness made famous in the bestselling book and award winning movie Born Free. The Samburu National Reserve is also the home of Kamunyak, a lioness famous for adopting Oryx calves. There is a wide variety of animal and bird life seen at Samburu National Reserve. Several large game species common to Kenya's northern plains can be found in abundance here, including the following dry-country fauna: gerenuk, grevy’s Zebra, Oryx, reticulated giraffe, lion, cheetah, leopard elephant, buffalo and hippos. Your driver guide will pick a perfect location where you will enjoy your picnic lunch at 1300hrs before continuing with the game drives in the afternoon. Return at 1800hrs for dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camps LDBB
Day 4: Samburu - Ol Pejeta Conservancy Nanyuki
Enjoy breakfast and later depart at 0730hrs to Ol Pejeta Ranch conservancy Nanyuki which is the largest sanctuary for black rhinos in East Africa. The conservancy is also home to a chimpanzee Sanctuary. Arrive at the conservancy at 1230hrs. Have lunch at the Sweet waters Serena tented camp at 1300hrs. Later at 1400hrs you will head out for a game drive in this lovely and exciting conservancy. This conservancy is the home of all the big five, elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard, and many other animals and birds. After the game drive at 1600hrs, Drive to the slopes of Mt Kenya and enjoy dinner and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club LDBB
Day 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Sweetwater’s)
Have Morning Breakfast, Later depart at 7.00am for more game drives at Ol Pajeta Ranch; you have to start games drives in the morning so that you can get to see many animals grazing, the animals always graze in early morning till around 10.00am then they go to their resting places till late afternoon from 3.00pm till late evening. This is the biggest and most exciting game reserve in Mount Kenya region popularly known as Sweet Waters. The conservancy has several Hotels in the 92,000 acres of land. And this is also the biggest Chimpanzee sanctuary. The Ranch is about 15Km west of Nanyuki town. This conservancy is the home of all the big five and many other animals and birds, The Rhino, Buffalos, Elephants, Lions, and the Elusive Leopards, forms the big five family. The park is so exciting as while in the park on the clear days, you have the best views of the magnificent Mount Kenya; Depart and driven back to the Mt. Kenya Safari Club 12pm. Where you will have Lunch and after Lunch Relax and enjoy the recreational facilities for the Hotel, you can also swim and relax for Dinner and overnight stay at Mount Kenya Safari Club Nanyuki.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park
After Morning breakfast at 6.30am, depart at 7.30.am to the Famous Lake Nakuru National Park, Drive straight on game drives en-route through and within the Park to arrive at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge at 12.00pm in time for hot lunch. Check in and relax and have hot lunch, later at 2.30pm, Depart for more game drives in this Premium Park. This is the second most visited National Park in Kenya after Maasai Mara National Reserve. Lake Nakuru National Park is world Renown for its great features, it’s the World Birds Anthological Sanctuary, and its Home to the Millions of Flamingoes, This Afternoon clients will spend the day in the Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for the thousands of lesser and greater flamingos that flock to this soda lake’s edge, but at this time the lake is flooded and the alkaline is covered by water. The numbers vary depending on the water level, and when it’s low, the lake almost turns pink. A truly spectacular sight! The park was established as a sanctuary for black and white rhino, which are often seen. The day is spent searching for these pre-historic looking beasts as well as the elusive leopard, this is the only place in Kenya where the residents lions are Tree climbing lions, Cheaters, White and Black Rhino, hundreds of Buffalos, Waterbucks, Impalas, Elands, Different types of Monkeys and etc. Later at 5.45pm depart back to the Lodge after a very exciting tour of the famous Lake Nakuru the world’s Anthological paradise for Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
Day 7: Lake National Park
Have Early morning Game drive from 6.30am till 9am return to the Lodge for morning breakfast as the breakfast is served up to 10am, later relax and swim and enjoy the Lodge facilities up to 1.00pm in time for Hot Lunch, Later at 2.30pm Depart for more game drives in search of this elusive species up to 6.00pm. Return back to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge
Day 8: Lake Bogoria National Reserve
Enjoy breakfast then at 0700hrs depart for Lake Bogoria with an en-route game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Bogoria Spa resort at approximately 09.30hrs. Visit the Lake Bogoria National Reserve which is home to the endangered Greater Kudu. Visit Lake Bogoria well known for its hot springs. This reserve is rich in biodiversity and the lake is an important stop-over point for the northern avian migrants. Over 373 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve and its surroundings including over 50 migratory species making it one of the richest birdlife areas in Kenya Important Bird Areas. The Lake holds huge congregations of lesser flamingos. Other water birds found in the lake include migratory waders such as Ruff, Curlew sandpiper, little stint Tawny eagle, among others. Return to your resort at 1.30.pm and enjoy hot lunch which will be served at 1330hrs. After Lunch Depart at 3pm to Lake Baringo. You will enjoy dinner and overnight at Island Camp Lake Baringo LDBB
Day 9: Lake Baringo
Enjoy breakfast then at 0800hrs and then enjoy some leisure time before lunch which will be served at 1300hrs. This afternoon you will visit the shores of Lake Baringo. The large fresh water body is a shelter for more than 400 bird species making it the areas main attraction. Baringo's fresh waters host a variety of fish which is not to be found in the alkaline lakes and which attracts a broad range of water birds. In addition to bird watching walks and boat trips under the guidance of a professional ornithologist, the lake offers a range of activities which include fishing, water sports (ski, wind-surfing), camel rides, and visits to a Njemps village, where you can get a sip of the local handcrafts and dances. Return to your club hotel at 1800hrs. You will enjoy dinner and overnight at Island Camp Lake Baringo LDBB
Day 10: Lake Naivasha
After breakfast at 0700hrs, depart to hells gate national park which despite its name is a peaceful area where you can walk or do biking alongside towering cliffs and wild animals. The park is famous for its geothermal station, Lower Gorge and spectacular sceneries cliffs, volcanoes and gorges. There are over 103 species of birds in the park, including vultures, verreaux’s eagles, Augur Buzzard and swifts. The grassy plains guarded by the towering cliffs are safe places to walk alongside giraffe, eland, hartebeest, buffalo and other small gazelles and antelopes. Lion, leopard and cheetah are very rare. Later at 12.30hrs drive to Great Rift Valley Lodge for Lunch, check in and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure swimming or (Playing Golf at an extra cost). Day 11: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Wake up and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at 0800hrs. Enjoy the morning at leisure later you will have early lunch at 1100hrs. You will then leave for Congreve airstrip at 1200hrs for your 1340hrs flight to the World renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. It’s the home to the 7th wonder of the world. Here you may see all the big five and thousands of other animals grazing in this beautiful reserve. Upon arrival at the airstrip at 1420hrs you will be warmly received by the Mara Safari Clubs’ guide driver. Enjoy an en-route game drive in the park on your way to the club for check in Maasai Mara is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system. The park was made famous by the abundance of the big cats, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the great wildebeest migration and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress. You will enjoy dinner and overnight at Mara Safari Club LDBB
Day 12: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Wakeup at 00500 hrs and be taken to Enjoy a very early morning Balloon Safari from 0600hrs to 0730hrs, later you will have Bush breakfast after the Balloon Safari in the Park. The Mara Plains are always teeming with wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, impala and Thomson's gazelle and the big five. Also cheetahs, hyenas and jackals are seen regularly in the reserve. In the Mara River large amounts of hippos and crocodiles are enjoying their lives - the crocodiles are especially happy in Mid June through to September when thousands of wildebeest migrate across the river causing a sumptuous feast for the hungry crocodiles. Birdlife in Maasai Mara are abundant and diverse. Species such as eagles, ostriches, storks and vultures are among the more than 50 different birds of prey. Later return to your club at 0930hrs. Spend the rest of the mid morning at leisure enjoying the club’s facilities. Enjoy lunch at the club at 1300hrs. Later at 1430 hrs head out for yet another exciting game drive. Return at 1800hrs for dinner and overnight at Mara Safari Club LDBB
Day 13: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the club then check out. You will be transferred to the airstrip where you will catch your flight back to Nairobi at 1015hrs. Upon arrival at 1145hrs you will be have Lunch at Java restaurant at Wilson Airport before you connect another flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival in Amboseli National Park, our driver guide will meet you and pick you up at 1500hrs where you will then have game drives en-route to Oltukai Lodge to arrive at the Lodge at 1700hrs. Amboseli National Park is the perfect location for viewing Africa’s tallest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later at 1800hrs, return for dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai lodge LDBB
Day 14: Amboseli National Park
Have an early morning Game drive from 0600hrs and return to the Lodge at 0900hrs for breakfast, later after breakfast, relax and swim at the pool side till 1300hrs in time for hot lunch. At 1430hrs you will head out for an afternoon game drive in this park which is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the world and the big five, elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard. It has other attractions such as Lake Amboseli, Lake Jipe and several observation hills. Return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge Amboseli.
Day 15: Tsavo West National Park
Depart, after early morning breakfast, to Tsavo West National Park at 0730hrs to get to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in good time for Lunch. Enjoy lunch then later in the afternoon at 1500hrs depart for an exciting afternoon game drive. Tsavo West National Park has a rich history which dates back to 1896 during the construction of the Kenya- Uganda Railway, the era of the ‘’Man Eaters Lions’’ which killed many Railway construction workers. The park has many other animals and other attractions include: Fish Sanctuary, Mzima Springs, Shetani Lava Flow, Chyulu Hills, and Ngulia Escarpment. At 1800hrs return for dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge LDBB
Day 16: Tsavo West National Park
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and then head out on an exciting full day of exploration in the park. There is plenty of wildlife here including large numbers of elephants and good lion prides. There is a rhino sanctuary where one gets to see the black rhinos. You may also see the Giraffe, impala, buffalo and Burchell’s zebra which are common species here. You guide driver will pick out an excellent location where you will have your picnic lunch. Later continue with the game drive in this park where bird lovers are likely to be amazed by the many species here including eight species of hornbills. At 1800hrs return for dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge LDBB
Day 17: Mombasa
Depart to Mombasa Serena Beach & Spa Resort North Coast Mombasa at 0700hrs to arrive at 1400hrs. Check in and then enjoy lunch at the hotel. Later relax at the spa resort while enjoying the evening beach breeze. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the Mombasa Serena Beach & Spa Resort LDBB
Day 18: Mombasa
After breakfast at 0730hrs, depart to Malindi Town via Kilifi Town and Watamu to arrive at 1030hrs in Malindi. Visit the famous Vasco Da Gama pillar which was built to give the Portuguese sailing directions to India and the Malindi museum which also doubles as an information centre where visitors are able to find more information on attractions and happenings in Malindi. At around1300hrs, visit the historic Gedi ruins in Watamu, the ruins of a fifteenth century Arab-African town, and you will enjoy your picnic lunch here. Later, at 1500hrs drive back to Mombasa after a very exciting tour of Kilifi, Watamu and Malindi. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the Mombasa Serena Beach & Spa Resort LDBB
Day 19: Mombasa
Morning breakfast at 0800hrs, depart to Diani Beach which is a stretch of beautiful white sand on the southern coast of Kenya. You will enjoy lunch at the forty thieves beach bar at 1300hrs. In the afternoon visit the Diani art gallery before driving back to your hotel at 1600hrs.Enjoy dinner and overnight at the Mombasa Serena Beach & Spa Resort LDBB
Day 20: Mombasa
Have morning breakfast at 0800hrs; then depart for a tour of Mombasa city. You will visit Fort Jesus Fort which was built to secure the safety of Portuguese living on the East Coast of Africa and has had a long history of hostilities of the interested parties that used to live in Mombasa, the Kilindini Habour a large, natural deep-water inlet extending inland from Mombasa and the Bamburi trails. Return to the hotel for late lunch at 1430hrs. Relax and enjoy the hotels facilities for the rest of the afternoon. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Mombasa Serena Beach & Spa Resort DBB.
Day 21: Mombasa

Day 22: Depart
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then check out of the resort. Depart for Nairobi after a relaxing holiday. Upon arrival in Nairobi you will enjoy lunch at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport waiting for your homebound flight.
